  • The 2020 workshop moves online

The 2020 workshop, planned as an in-person event at MIT, was postponed when large meetings were banned during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was held online instead from July 20 to August 7, spread over three weeks, and more than 2,000 people took part. Past workshops describes how the format has changed since.

  • STPA and CAST handbooks

The STPA and CAST handbooks are free to download.

  • Research consortium

We created a cross-industry consortium for collaborative research in system safety and security engineering, focused on real problems that industries face today. See the consortium description (PDF).

  • STAMP Forum mailing list

Workshop participants asked for a way to discuss STAMP and the methods built on it, such as STPA and CAST, so we set up the STAMP Forum mailing list at MIT. It is limited to STAMP topics to keep the traffic down. Sign up.
